- It gets its name from Lakadong village, a part of the Jaintia Hills. Cultivated with the utmost care by Kudej community farmers only in Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills District, it has the world's highest curcumin content up to 9 percent.
Lakadong Turmeric Powder Preparation:
- Our community farmers take special attention to using only age-old traditional methods and specialize in turmeric cultivation.
- The only inputs from nature are sun, rain, organic manure, and care.
- Rhizomes plantation-> harvesting -> sun dried -> grind to fresh powder -> plastic free packaging. It undergoes regular quality tests to ensure the best quality for each batch.
