Our story

Binzzin started with a simple Idea: the flavors that mean "home" in Northeast India — Khorisa's sharp fermented bamboo shoot, Bogori's sweet-tart jujube berry, the slow burn of Bhut Jolokia — are nearly impossible to find once you leave the region. Binzzin set out to fix that, sourcing ingredients directly from local Assamese farmers and pickling them in small batches, the way it's done at home rather than at industrial scale. The range stays deliberately narrow — five or six pickles, each one distinct, none of them the usual mango-or-lime default — because the point isn't variety for its own sake. It's getting the actual taste of home right, jar by jar, for anyone far enough from Assam to miss it.
