At Foodwalas, we curate and deliver exceptional vegetarian and vegan food products from trusted food makers across India. Since we deal in food items, returns are limited and governed by strict quality and safety standards.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Nature of Products

All products sold on Foodwalas.com are food items. Due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, food items cannot be returned once delivered, except in cases of damage, leakage, or incorrect delivery.

2. Order Cancellation

  • An order can be cancelled within 4 hours of placing the order or before the order is shipped by the seller – whichever is earlier.

  • Once an order is packed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

3. When Are You Eligible for a Refund or Replacement?

You are eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • You receive a damaged or leaked product

  • You receive a wrong product

  • The product is expired at the time of delivery

  • The package is tampered with or incomplete

Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID

  • Clear photos or video of the product and outer packaging

  • Brief description of the issue

4. Resolution & Refunds

  • Our team will review your request within 2 working days.

  • If approved, we will offer either a replacement or a refund.

  • Refunds are credited back to the original source of payment within 5–7 working days after approval.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or replacements will not be provided if:

  • The product has been opened or consumed

  • The issue is reported after 24 hours of delivery

  • You did not like the taste or texture

  • Delivery failed due to incorrect address or incorrect mobile number or customer unavailability

  • There are minor packaging dents that do not affect product quality
